The other day Gwenie decided to help me dig up the weeds in the sidewalk, we thought that was cute so we'll share that with you.

Geez... it has been a long time since I last posted anything! Sorry for that, but there hasn't been much going on in our lives.
I think it was the next day she started looking through the cracks in the fence and saying something to our neighbor...
hopefully next time it will be more interesting next time.

New Additions
This past weekend we traveled to Ft. Wayne/Huntertown for Kent, a friend of Jared's wedding. While we were there we got to meet our new niece Reagan. She is so cute! Gwenie liked to try and hold her, but she sure didn't like it when I held her. She puckered up and started to cry. I'm sure she will like her better when she gets a little older and she can play with her.

Then yesterday my Aunt and Uncle brought my new little cousin into this world. His name is Cameron and he is so cute! Gwenie seemed to like him better than Reagan.

Our Little Fish
If you know my family, you know that in the summertime we always go swimming (well really we just like to lay out and get a good tan), but the water cools us off. Growing up we always went to Dietz Lake which is now kind of a dirty lake (or pond as Jared calls it), but when I used to go as a child was fairly nice. Anyway, we decided to take Gwenie there this past week and then went again on Fathers Day. She loves the water, but she's not to excited about the sand yet. In fact I thought that she would love the sand so I told my mom that I thought that she would like a sand box for her birthday, and so my mom and dad bought her a sand box. Well she doesn't really like it. We got her to play in it the other night with Jared and I, but it didn't last very long. Hopefully she will grow to like more and more as the summer goes on. We also went to Shakamak State Park this past week. I love going there, mostly for there pool. It's a very nice pool and really inexpensive to get in. Gwenie really liked it too. I took her down the water slide that they have and she must of liked it because she wanted to go again. I'm so glad that Gwenie likes the water!!! and she's getting good tan too, better than mine.

Gwenie's 1st Birthday
Gwenie's 1st birthday was this past Wednesday, I can't believe that it has been a year since she was born. To celebrate Jared and I took her to Ritters Frozen Custard the night before her birthday because we went there the night before she was born last year. This is her enjoying her frozen custard.
The next day my Mom and Dad, Matt, Mindy, Gabe, Brittany, Jared and I all took Gwenie to the Indianapolis Zoo for her birthday. Gwenie wasn't really all that excited about it, in fact she was scared of most of the animals. She really only liked the monkeys and penguins, but it was still a really great day. These are just a few pictures from our trip.
This is my mom and dad with Gwenie and Gabe when we first got to the zoo.
This is Jared and Gwenie in the desert at the Zoo, man was it hot in there.

I know you're thinking, "where are the animals at the zoo?" so here are a few pictures of the animals.

Our Weekend
This past weekend we went to my grandparents for a little get together. My aunt, sister and I all had babies within 4 months last summer and fall, so now we have 3 babies in the family. While we were there they all took a wagon ride together.
Then Gwenie stole her cousins stroller and went for a ride.

So We Finally Made Our Blog...
Well, here it is. Our family's blog page. Apparently Kayla wanted to do this a while ago. So now at near 10 at night we are typing our first entry. Married life is so very exciting!!! But seriously, we hope this is a way for our family and friends to catch up on what is happening with the Garmans of Terre Haute. (The ONLY Garmans in Terre Haute!) Thanks for checking up on us and don't forget to leave us a message. Enjoy the family picture!
