Our First Pictures

Finally I am posting the first pictures of our new baby that will be here in April. I had tried before, but the pictures were blurry. Thankfully my dad got a new scanner for Christmas and I was able to scan them onto their computer. The first picture is pretty good, but in the second his eyes look kind of scary. Don't worry though, you can't see anything in the pictures that shows that he is boy.

Tonight something very unusual has happened that doesn't hardly ever happen. Right now as I am writing this I am the only one in the house still awake. Lately I have been the first one asleep, sometimes even before Gwenie. Anyway, I thoughtthis would be a great time to update our family and friends on what is going on with us.
Last Wednesday Jared, Gwenie, my parents and I went to the doctor for our ultrasound. It was very exciting because we were finding out what sex the baby is, which I had been waiting for since the day I found out that I was pregnant. For all of you that don't already know we are going to have a baby boy sometime in April! And if you know Jared at all you know that he is beyond excited about having a son!
These are just a few pictures of Gwenie and her Holiday spirit.

We hope you all have a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

1st Reindeer Sighting

Friday night the Vigo County Library had a live Reindeer for everyone to come and see, so Jared and I took Gwenie thinking that she would cry and not want anything to do with it. To our surprise she liked it. She got to pet it and even got her picture taken with it. It was really neat to see and I was glad that we took her. They also had some other animals there for the kids to see and pet.

They also gave all the kids reindeer noses. Gwenie thinks it's so funny to put it on and even more funny when Jared or I put it on.
