As many of you know the Indianapolis Colts are in town for training camp and how could we not go check it out when they are only a few minutes away (even though Jared is still mad that they beat his Chicago Bears). Friday was Kids Day and my mom and dad decided to go so Gwenie and I went too. I'm pretty sure Gwenie was overwhelmed by all the people there and probably the heat as well, but she wasn't that interested in anything there. Oh well at least we went, right. We did manage to get a picture of her and my dad by this giant blow up football player...

and before we left she enjoyed a blue snow cone. I tried to get her to get her face painted, but she wouldn't have anything to do with it.

Friday night we went home with my mom and dad because Jared had practice and Gwenie and I don't like to stay home by ourselves all the time. Matt, Mindy, and Gabe came over to go swimming and brought a sprinkler they had bought earlier in the week.

On Sunday, we enjoyed our day with Jared. Sunday's are the only day that Jared is home; he has work during the week then he goes straight to practice from work. Lately he hasn't been getting home until about 10. So unless Gwenie is awake when he gets home she doesn't get to see him. Then on Saturday's Jared has class in Indy until 4:30. He's almost done going to Indy, at least for a few months...yeah!!!! :)

Anyway we went to Shakamak State Park where they have a very nice swimming pool that I think I have talked about before. Gwenie loved every moment that we were there. She especially loved the slide. We must have took her down it 10 times while we were there. But Jared wasn't allowed to take her because he goes under everytime he goes the slide, so my mom, dad, and I took turns taking her and she laughed all the way down everytime. Here are a few pictures of our day.

Summer Days

Monday night I was watering the flowers in the back yard and Gwenie kept trying to get in the water, so I just let her. Then when I was putting it away she kept pointing wanting more. So I decided to let her play in the hose like it was a sprinkler and she had a blast!!! She thought it was so funny and she kept screaming in excitment. Here are just a few pictures of her fun...

Tuesday Gwenie and I decided to call and see if Gabe wanted to come over and play in the sprinkler too. We thought he would like it just as much as Gwenie did, so we called and he got to come over today and play. We got the real sprinkler out and Gwenie's pool.
