Sesame Street Live

Tuesday night my mom, sister, and I got to take Gabe and Gwenie to see Sesame Street Live: Elmo Makes Music. The only characters from Sesame Street that Gwenie even recognizes are Elmo and Cookie Monster, but we thought that she would enjoy going to see them in person so we took her to her 1st concert ever. They had such a good time, I don't think Gwenie blinked the whole time we were there :) At intermission I said "Gwenie lets go walk around" and her response was "No mommy, Elmo is coming". I am so glad that I got take Gwenie, even though she won't remember it. Here are a few pictures of our night...

Two weeks old already!

I can't believe that Max is already 2 weeks old! The past 2 weeks have just flew by, and we are still trying to get used to the new sleep patterns of the newest member of our family. He does pretty good, much better than Gwenie was and still is, but I must have forgotten how many times newborns get up to eat during the night and how disturbed sleep really does affect the quality of the sleep that you get. But it is all worth it!!!! I am also so proud of Gwenie! I was worried about how she would be, but she has been such a good helper. I admit she has her moments, but overall she has been great with Max! I can't wait to see them play together when Max gets a little older, he already tries giving her kisses and Gwenie thinks it's the funniest thing.
Anyway, here are a few new pictures of Max and Gwenie...

Maxwell Robert David Garman!!!

Our baby boy arrived Tuesday morning at 9:43 am. He weighed 7 lbs. 14 oz. and was 21 inches long. He is over a pound bigger than Gwenie was when she was born and yet I don't remember her ever being as little as he is. Anyway we are all doing pretty good! Gwenie is taking some time to get used to her new brother, but loves to look and talk to him and just see what he is doing. Here are the pictures that I promised....

We'll post more pictures when we get them on the computer.
